Edwin Louis Epps, 57, from La Porte, Texas, died June 4, 2016. Born in Pasadena, Texas, on October 15, 1958 to Louise Jones and Edwin F. Epps. Edwin known to friends as Louis was a gentle loving man and was loved by all who knew him. He was a second father to Edwin and Sarah Epps. He was preceded in death by his father E. Frank Epps and son Matt Fuller. He is survived by his wife Linda Epps; Mother Louise Epps; Son Dwayne Harris and wife Ginger; Daughters Christy Harris and Shawna Fuller; Brother Frank N. Epps and wife Jane; Grandchildren Kaella Harris, Rayna Harris, Brittney Harris and Briana Harris; Nephew Edwin F. Epps, II; and Nieces Sarah Epps, Korah DuBois Epps and Kaitlyn DuBois. Pallbearers are Edwin F. Epps, II, Kelly Butler, Chuck Jones, George Jones, John Jones, Jr. and Kirk Bennett. Visitation will be Tuesday June 7, 2016 from 12-3pm with services starting at 3pm at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date.
