Elineo Gerardo Garcia's Obituary
Elineo “The Kid” “Neno” “Lineo” Gerardo Garcia, 64, became an angel Thursday, February 23, 2017. He is preceded in death by his father, Erineo Garcia. Elineo was survived by his mother, Reyes Alvarez Castaneda; his loving wife of 43 years, Debbie (Saavedra) Garcia; sons, Ray Garcia and wife, Diana, Eric Garcia and wife, Beatriz; sister, Gloria Tobias and husband, Joe; grandchildren, Ray Garcia Jr., Leo Garcia, Elena Garcia, Lynn Garcia, Erica “Lupita” Garcia; niece Allison and a host of loving family and friends.
Elineo’s life was the epitome of an outdoorsman, he loved hunting, fishing and sharing his Gulf Coast property in Sargent Texas with family or friends. “The Kid” took great pride sharing his array of talents and knowledge of electrical, A/C or mechanical repairs. “ Neno “ would share reloading ammunition to making homemade smoked sausage from homemade smokers with anyone who wanted to learn. “The Kid” also had a love for cooking and barbequing giving his time to help many family and friends for benefits. The craftsmanship of his mind and hands could fix anything, a true “Jack of all trades, Master of none.” He always said, “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure”. “Lineo” was a man of strong faith and devotion. He was an excellent provider for his family and retired from Waukesha Peace Industries after 34 years of employment. Special occasions with family and friends were times truly cherished. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Thank you to our family and friends for the abundance of love and support. A visitation for Elineo will be held Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2209 Old Alvin Rd., Pearland, Texas 77581. The funeral mass will take place Friday, March 3, 2017 at 10:00 am at St. Helen Catholic Church with Father James Courville officiating.
