View Tribute Book Elizabeth “Betsy” Williamson de Watson, 87, passed away Friday, April 19, 2019. She comes from a large loving family that consisted of her parents, John Williamson and Alicia Watson; her loving husband, Clyde Herrin Watson; children, Alicia Flores, Susan Randolph, Barbara Kilgore, Carmen Brunson and Clyde Watson, Jr.; brothers, Federico Williamson, Douglas Williamson, Bill Williamson; grandchildren, Erich Haas, Jaime Palacios, Robert Haas, Fausto Flores, Suzanne Fernley, Barbara Guerra, Alicia Flores, Clyde Watson, lll, Jose Luis Guerra, Michael Ray Kilgore, Marianna Watson, Sean Watson; great grandchildren, Jackson Watson, Melanie Watson, Madison Watson, Josephine Haas, Wyatt Haas, Courtney Haas, Danielle Rodriguez , Khylynn Baxter, Kynslee Baxter, Steven Rasberry; great-great grandchild, Braelynn Haas Cruz; and a host of other family and dear friends. Betsy enjoyed teaching English at an all-girls American high school in Tampico, Mexico. She enjoyed being outdoors and loved bay fishing in Port Mansfield. Betsy enjoyed being active and was always up for a game of volleyball or racquetball. She loved listening to Big Band Music and dancing with Clyde. Family was extremely important to Betsy and she loved cooking Clyde’s favorite, chicken and dumplings with butter beans. She managed the family business where they grew onions, tomatoes, cantaloupe, peppers and raised cattle. Betsy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Services for Betsy will be held Monday, April 22, 2019 at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. A Visitation will be held from 5:30 until 8:00 pm with a Rosary recited at 6:15 and a Liturgy of the Word following with Deacon Steve Griesmyer officiating. Interment will take place in Tampico, Mexico. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.claytonfuneralhomes.com.
