My deepest condolences to the family. I’m just sorry I didn’t keep in better contact. I just now found out of her passing. Neil and Eli were the kindest of souls. Eli was never without a smile and always had the best things to say. Her and her loving husband will forever be in my heart. It was such a joy and pleasure knowing them and working with the short time I did. The next time I make davinity I will of course be thinking of you Eli
So many people have been blessed by Eloise's love and kindness. We are holding all of you close to our heart today and always.
Every Monday night for several years I babysat Pam and Diane while Eloise and Neil went square dancing Since it was a school night, it was just easier for me to stay those nights with them. I became a part of that family. Eloise introduced me to peanut butter on my pancakes and took me to school on so many Tuesday mornings we had marvelous conversations on those drives. One summer The Wests decided to go to a square dance convention in Los Angeles and figured they'd need a sitter for the girls. ..so I got to join them. They included me in everything including a trip to Disneyland. I've never forgotten how they treated me or how much I loved those 2 little girls when you are 14, everybody seems old. Facing my 75th birthday coming up, I realize Eloise was so much closer in age to me. Thanks for so many beautiful memories. After I went to college, got married and followed an Air Force pilot around for 25 years, I lost touch for way too many years with this dear family. Her smile never changed and I can still hear her laughter. Beverly Bishop Eckert
I will remember Elosie as a kind and gentle lady, always with a smile on her face. RIP. Lata.
