My mom Pat Murray was friends with Elvira. The other two in the “group” were Joy (?) and Jan Edwards. My older brother went to school with Margie (who wanted to be a wolf). I remember how beautiful Esther and Shirley were (don’t remember the other girls). Dougie was the youngest. I first smelled Jergens lotion on Elvira’s hands and it remained my favorite scent for years. I met Terry and Dory and Jimmie a couple of times. I am thankful Elvira is at peace and with her family.
My Mom was the best, always remember her hands smelling like Jergens lotion when I was little. I loved the songs she use to sing with us when we were little, Oh Little Playmate, You are my Sunshine, and many more. Mom loved reading books and read to us and enjoyed sharing knowledge and new things with us. She was a wonderful cook, and enjoyed teaching us how to when we were old enough. She was very devoted to her family. She is loved much and we are missing her. ❤️ Love You Mom!
