Lester Lee Engelke Jr, age 50, passed away at his home Saturday July 31, 2010 surrounded by his loving family. Lester is preceded in death by his father Lester Lee Engelke Sr.; brother, Curtis Engelke; and daughter Shannon Nicole Read Obituary

Thru Mom Alice I have gotten to know alittle about Lester.And each one of you his family!I have felt the strength that is in each of you and I know God will continue to gve you the strength you so much need during this season of your lives.Earth’s loss is heaven’s greatest gain-Praying for each of you for God will be there each you take.He will take two or more!!Blessings of joy,comfort,peace as you remember all the treasured memories of your precious loved one-Lester!Wish I could have met him but know that one day in heaven I shall get to meet him.
I know this is a very sad time for all of you. Though I only met Lester once, it was apparent that he was a very special person. I loved the poem printed on the funeral program, and it seemed so like the Lester I’ve heard so much about over the years. May your family be both blessed and comforted by your memories of Lester and his unbreakable spirit!

Alice, I am so sorry for your loss. I have been thru what you are going thru . It is ever so hard to lose a child. It is not suppose to happen but, we know that our faith will carry us thru.

Please accept our condolences. When Lester was young and they would come to PA, we always had a blast. He will be missed by so much family up here. He was a great husband and father as well as son and brother, uncle and nephew. We are so rich in having known him and how much of a family man he truly was. He will be missed.
