Lucille is missed greatly by her cousin Sherry Lynn Carey and her husband Tom Carey. RIP Lucille.
Our family has lost a jewel. We miss her and hope all of you take comfort in knowing how much she was loved and admired.
We didn't meet Lucille until a few years ago but she immediately stole our hearts and captured our imagination. What a lovely woman! Her charm, humor, grace dignity and poise were such a pleasure to experience. We loved socializing with her and hearing her stories ( especially about golf) and relishing her wisdom. Lucille was the epitome of the Southern woman, smart, strong and sexy into her 90's.
Please know the world is a better place because of her, and the void in her absence is palpable.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all who loved her.
Sincerely,
Cyndi and Michael Golden
Ours sincerely CONDOLENCES to all of the family,
Mrs. Lucy always be in ours hearts .
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you grieve the loss of your dear mother.
So sorry for your loss. Prayer's for your family.
Angel. That is what Lucille was to me.She came into my life the year I lost both my parents.
In a short period of time, she became a close friend and mentor. She was always there for
me with her wisdom and love. We shared life together - births, birthdays, marriages,
divorces, health issues, and death. I have fond memories of special dinners and golf
outings. She was a special lady, and an inspiration to all who knew her. My love for and
memories of Lucille will live in my heart FOREVER.
Sending lots of love to the family members that she left behind. She was a very special lady and her spirit will live on in our hearts forever. May she be the angel sitting on your shoulder to cheer you on to the next adventure with flare because that is who she was.
Much love and light to you all.
My heart goes out to one of the most facinating people I've ever known. I had the pleasure of being her daughter-law for almost 30 years and she was a delight. We had many conversations about her early life in Louisiana and her travels as an officer's wife in the military. God Bless Lucille and my extended family.
