Fannie B. Goins, 90, of La Porte passed away Saturday August 23, 2008. She was born December 12, 1917 in Sumpter, Arkansas to Lydia and James Jones. She is preceded in death by her husband Roy Goins and sister Dorothy J. Clary. She is survived by daughter Joan West and husband Homer, grandson David West and wife Anna, great granddaughter Sydney Ann West, great grandson Hunter Lee West, niece Shirley Bragg and husband Roy, nephews James Robert Jones and wife Joyce, Michael Jones and wife Karyn, James Troy Goins, and Charles Roy Goins.
Visitation will be held Tuesday August 26, 2008 at 6-8 PM at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Wednesday August 27, 2008 at 2 PM at the funeral home as well.
