Gabriel Salazar, 87, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2021. He is preceded in death by his father Norberto Salazar; mother Maria De La Luz; son Gabriel Salazar; and daughter Maria Asunsion Salazar. Left to cherish Gabriel’s memory are his loving wife, of 65 years, Maria Salazar; sons Enrique Salazar and wife, Rosario, Maximo Salazar; daughter Rosa Salazar and husband, Ingnasio, Maria De Jesus Salazar, Silva Salazar and husband, Margarito, Maria Concepcion Salazar and husband, Ambrosion; 2 brothers; 5 sisters; 33 grandchildren; many great grandchildren, and a host of other dear family and friends.
Gabriel was a loving husband, father and grandfather who cherished his family. He loved spending time with them whenever he could. He was an extremely kind and humble man. Gabriel absolutely loved talking with and getting to know anyone he met. He never knew a stranger. Gabriel will be remembered by all who knew him as a man of great character and kindness. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
