Gary Michael Somerville's Obituary
Gary Michael Somerville, 53, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2016. He is survived by his parents, Michael and Rosaleen Somerville; his loving wife, Dona Somerville; sons, Liam and Sean Somerville; brother, Liam Somerville; sister, Ann Lindon and husband, Andy; nephew, Michael Lindon; and a host of other family in the U.K. and friends all over the world.
Gary was born on February 2, 1963 in Coventry, England. He joined the British Royal Navy in 1979 at 16 years old and served for Queen Elizabeth on the Royal Yacht Britannia. Gary and Dona were married in 2009 and had two sons, Liam, 7, and Sean, 5. Gary worked for several years in the oilfield industry as a Health and Safety Engineer. Gary will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A traditional Irish wake will be held Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Bull & Bear Tavern, 11980 Westheimer, Houston, Texas 77077. The wake will be held from 3:00 until 6:00 pm. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.claytonfuneralhomes.com.
