View Tribute Book Gautam Bhatta, beloved son, brother, husband, devoted friend and esteemed colleague passed away peacefully on April 6, 2025, in Houston, Texas. He was 56 years old. Born on June 2, 1968 to Manjugopal and Orchid Bhatta, in Melbourne, Florida. Gautam was a life long Houstonian. He grew up in Clear Lake, graduating from Clear Lake High School. Gautam enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He played soccer and tennis, He attended University of Houston, earning a bachelors degree in engineering, and going to UT Houston School of Dentistry, ultimately setting up his dental practice. After engineering, he expanded his skills set to dentistry because as a dedicated dentist he wanted to put a smile on everyone’s face and touch their hearts. He loved his pets. Over the years he had Sebastian the parrot, Midnight and Marsha, his cats, and his dog Pauli. He is survived by his parents Manjugopal and Orchid Bhatta; sister, Meenakshi; wife Maggie and his beloved pets. The family invites you to celebrate Gautam’s life, sharing stories and memories that honor his life. Gautam will be remembered for his zest for life and the way he touched people’s lives, making people feel seen, loved and inspired. Funeral Services will be held at Clayton Funeral Home on Thursday April 10, 2025 at 10 AM.
