Nikki... It's just now hitting me that you're really gone. We won't get a chance to make up from whatever crap got between us in high school. I will never see your smiling face again. I will never get to thank you for what a gift you've given me. I will never be able to tell you how good of a friend you were. I'm sorry, and my God lift you to God's side, and comfort all of your family and friends. I love you.

The first time I saw her in Goliad when I was living there, and didn't know that she was your daughter Lori, I remarked how she was a spitting image of you.
