View Tribute Book With deep love and sadness, we share the passing of Gita Rohini Ajodha on Saturday, April 5, 2025, in Friendswood, Texas, at the age of 72. Gita was a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth, generosity, and kindness touched all who knew her. She is reunited with her beloved husband, Mahendradath Ajodha; her parents, Ram and Sancharrie Manohar; and her siblings Sybil, Luna, Devi, and Prem. She leaves behind her loving children, Shivendra “Renny” (Jackie) and Sema (Raúl); brother Ishwer; sister Saras; and grandchildren Ashwarya, Raúl Jr., and Caleb—along with many extended family and friends who will forever cherish her memory. Gita was gentle, wise, and full of love. She especially loved to cook, bringing her family together through meals that became treasured moments of connection. Her thoughtful presence, comforting advice, and quiet acts of kindness will be deeply missed. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 13, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home (5530 Broadway St, Pearland, TX 77581). The funeral service will take place Monday, April 14 at 10:00 am.
