Q: What meal or recipe did Glen love?
A: I had the honor of making coconut cream pies for Glen’s 80th birthday. Every time I make that pie, I will think of you and Jetta.

Jetta, our deepest condolences on the loss of Glen. Sadly, we will be out of town for his memorial service but wanted to share a memory with you. Early on, Doug was serving on the Building Committee and they were working on some project to improve the church facilities. Doug said, Glen came up to him and asked what he needed. Doug told him, more as a joke, not expecting any one to be able to handle that job, and his reply was, that ain't no problem and he wasn't kidding. Shortly thereafter, Glen showed up with a mobile welding shop and proceeded to handle the crisis. He definitely was a servant leader and will be surely missed by you, your family and his friends. To God be the Glory!

At Rhonda & Johnny's wedding, Glen made me feel like a favorite extended family member. We joked and talked and he ribbed me about my dancing the Cotten Eye Joe. I knew then Johnny was a lucky man to have him as his father in law. Rest in peace with our Lord and Savior. Love you Glen.
I didn’t have the pleasure to know Glen very long but when you meet someone in one of the most difficult times in their life it has a way of bringing the core of the individuals up to the surface. Glen adored his wife and daughters and seeing how a man loves the woman in his life speaks volumes to his character. He was always helpful to the people around him , anyway he could help he would and wanted to. He was strong and he was determined to get back what he had lost in his physical abilities. I watched him put in the work and he met his first goal. We were all so proud but I’m sure it was nothing compared to the pride he felt in himself again. These things are hard for anyone but men tend to carry the weight of these limitations a little harder. I will remember his kind smile and his silly sense of humor. Mostly I will miss his smile and the calmness that everything was going to be ok feeling he seemed to carry with him.
Keep that Heavenly Motor Home traveling to all those memorable destinations… one of the highlights of our “Dirty Dozen” adventures was when you guys drove up to the house in Shoreacers with a Happy Birthday Jerry banner on the side of the M H…. And I thought Connie had purchased one for me for my Birthday…. Will forever cherish all of those memorable outings and the special Friendship our families shared…..
