Gloria Winegar's Obituary
Gloria Nell Winegar, a resident of Pearland, passed away Saturday, March 25, 2006 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Nell was born December 10, 1937 in Galveston, Texas to Alvin and Maxine Porterfield Workman.
Nell is survived by her husband, Bob Winegar; two daughters, Lisa Winegar Marsh and Laura Winegar Everington; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Al and Garlene Workman and John and Madeline Workman; sister and brother-in-law, Sissy and Robert Herron; three grandchildren, Megan, Garrett and Mackensie; great-grandson, Hayden; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends from 2 – 3 PM Wednesday, March 29, 2006, at Clayton Funeral Home of Pearland, where a memorial service celebrating Nell’s life will follow at 3 PM, in the chapel. In lieu of usual remembrances, memorials may be made in Nell’s honor to the American Cancer Society or to the American Lung Association.
