Gordon Eugene Baumbach
Gordon Eugene Baumbach was born in Pasadena, Texas to
Margaret and Walton Baumbach. He attended grammar school and
High School in LaPorte.
In 1968 he joined the United States Army serving until 1971. After his
return home he worked for several different contractors at
NASA until 1987 and finished his career with Zachry Inc. retiring
as Project Controls Manager in 2016.
Gordon enjoyed fast cars, Harleys, guns and computers.
The love of his life, Sherrie was his total focus. They
became one in 1979 and have resided in Longview, Tx
for the past eight years.
He leaves behind Sherrie, his wife of 38 years, one step
daughter, Jackie, four grandchildren, and one cousin,
Becky. He loved and was loved by all.
