Grayson Scott Pearson's Obituary
Grayson Scott Pearson, 18, passed away on October 21, 2015. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Michael Pearson. Grayson is survived by his parents, Greg and Amy Pearson; brother, Adam Joseph Pearson; sister, Emily Mackenzie Pearson; grandmother, Linda Pearson; grandparents, Charles and Judy Way; aunts and uncles, Jennifer and Keith Shaffer, Chuck and Autumn Way, Jeff Pearson and fiancé, April Burns, and “Aunt Leslie” Dorrans; cousins, Drew Matura and Cami Shaffer; and a host of many other family and friends.
Grayson was a happy-go-lucky guy that always had a smile on his face. He loved music whether he was singing it, rapping it or playing it. He was a musician of many instruments and even enjoyed writing his own songs and jamming on his guitar. Grayson participated in many sports from a young age, and eventually found a love of skateboarding. Grayson was an Eagle Scout with Pearland Troop 414, and he had a strong commitment to people -- making sure everyone was included in a game they were playing or a conversation they were having. He was incredibly outgoing, and never met a stranger; made friends easily, and could even convince his dad to get him a fountain Coke of a particular size, and remind his dad to go to a particular store because they had the best ones. Grayson loved his family very much and always enjoyed being the big brother to Adam and Emily. He also enjoyed playing video games and watching the Rockets, Texans, and Aggie Football. Grayson touched many peoples’ lives throughout his life and he will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
The visitation will begin at 9:15am on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 6502 County Road 48 Manvel, Texas 77578. The funeral mass will begin at 11:00 am with Father Thomas Ponzini officiating. The interment will follow at SouthPark Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.
