Guy Stevenson Wing Jr., 60, passed away Friday, February 10, 2017. He is preceded in death by his father, Guy Stevenson Wing Sr. Guy is survived by his mother, Patricia Vigliotta; daughters, Jennifer McIntyre and husband, James, Julie Tran and husband, Tommy; brothers, Robert Wing and wife, Amanda, Robert Vigliotta and wife, Rhonda; sisters, Karen Laramie and husband, Tom, Robin Ennis and husband, Roger; grandchildren, Ryan McIntyre, Oliver Tran, Cole McIntyre; and a host of other family and friends.
Guy was a devoted father and wonderful provider for his family. He was a Public Works employee for 15 years before becoming a cross country truck driver for nearly 10 years. Guy had an amazing personality and made friends everywhere he went. His passion was the outdoors and enjoyed taking his girls camping when they were growing up and later his grandchildren on many camping adventures. He loved NASCAR, drag racing, and at one time even had his own stock car that he liked to race on the dirt tracks. Guy was a huge Texas Rangers baseball fan and enjoyed taking his family to games. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Services for Guy will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The visitation will be held from 4:30 until 6:00 pm with the funeral service following at 6:00 pm with Pastor Adam Bateman officiating. A Memorial Service will also be held Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 10:00 am at Community of Hope Methodist Church, 1800 E. Debbie Lane, Mansfield, TX 76063 with Pastor Jerry Richardson officiating.
