Harold Gene Mabry, 72, of La Porte passed away Sunday August 22, 2010. He was born April 19, 1938 in Groveton, Texas to Daisy and Angus Mabry. He was a member of Broadway Church of Christ. Harold is survived by his wife Anna Mabry, children Kellie Blackwell, Shellie Blackwell and Rick, Brent Mabry, sister Marie Sturrock and Frank, grandchildren Bryan Blackwell, Bradley Blackwell, Brady Blackwell, Joshua Teel, Jacob Teel, Richard Blackwell, Brandon Blackwell, Liam Mabry, Kaileigh Pyle, great grandchild Stian Miday, and numerous others that knew him as Paw Paw.
Visitation will be held Saturday August 28, 2010 at 2-4PM at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Home Chapel. A memorial service will be held immediately following visitation at 4PM. The family wishes to thank their friends and the staff at Bayshore Medical Center for their prayers and kindness.
