I worked with Hattie for 10 years at Sam Rayburn High School. A wonderful woman, an excellent educator, I felt honored as a colleague to share so many ideas about how to teach children. God has a ordained a special place for her in his kingdom.
I was so saddened to hear of Hattie’s death. Hattie and I attended elementary, jr high, and high school together in Nashville, Arkansas. We reunited at our 50th reunion and started getting together, with 8 other high school friends, a couple of times a year. We will miss her so much. Hattie loved life, loved Nashville, and her family and friends. My thoughts and prayers go out to her children and family. Hattie was loved by many.
Hattie was my neighbor from 2015-2017. I so enjoyed having her next door to me. She was a wonderful friend and I am deeply saddened to hear of your loss. Rest In Peace sweet lady! Prayers for family and friends. You will be missed Hattie.
Hattie was my best friend, and I am missing her tremendously. While growing up in Nashville, Arkansas, I spent many Friday nights with her after football games. We were in the band together and she and Virginia Shannon and I were besties sharing many band trips and functions together. She was always there for me whenever I needed a shoulder to cry on, and I tried to be there for her whenever she needed a shoulder to lean on. Everyone loved Hattie. She could tell the funniest stories and I loved them all. Rest in peace, my Steel Magnolia roommate. I have always loved you to the moon and back!!
Hattie was a wonderful friend, and lady! I will miss her so very much! A friend for almost fifty years! My sincere condolences to her children, and eleven grandchildren! Your mother, and grandmother was very special to me. I cared for her dearly, my friends! May God's Peace be with you at this time!
