Herman Haynes Brown's Obituary
Judge Herman H. Brown, 86, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2014. He is preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Argie Brown; and two sisters. Herman is survived by son, Gerald Brown, and wife, Tammy; daughter, Debbie Bond and husband, Rick; five grandchildren, five great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
Herman proudly served his country in the United States army during the Korean War with the 101st Airborne Division. He served the people of Franklin County, Tennessee for 16 years as the General Sessions Judge. Herman was affectionately known as “Grand Daddy” to his grandchildren and cherished spending time with them. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Herman’s honor to Alzheimer’s research at www.alz.org. An interment service will be held at Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
