Hershel Bernard Buckmiller, 63, of La Porte passed away Monday August 17, 2009. He was born September 14, 1945 in Pasadena, Texas to Evelyn and Bernard Buckmiller. He is preceded in death by his parents. Hershel is survived by his wife Sandra Buckmiller, children Hershel Lee Buckmiller, Gerald Buckmiller, Wesley Buckmiller, Trey Cardenas, Diane Stoker, brother David Buckmiller, sister Cathy Fancello, and grandchildren Jaclyn Persails, Jeremy Buckmiller, O.C. Cardenas, Bailey Stoker, Dylan Cardenas, and Joel Buckmiller.
Visitation will be held Tuesday August 18, 2009 at 6-9PM at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will be held Wednesday August 19, 2009 at noon at Grand View Memorial Park.
