Boyd was very patriotic and served his country proudly in the National Guard for 18 years. He was a wonderful provider for his family and an excellent role model to his children of hard work and perseverance. Boyd was strong in his faith and was always at church on Sunday. He could fix just about anything electrical, plumbing or wood working around the house. Boyd had an amazing sense of humor and always had a joke to tell. He enjoyed coaching little league baseball as his sons were growing up. Boyd was affectionately known as “Paw-Paw” to his grandchildren and he was their #1 fan; attending all of their ball games, showing animals and other activities. He will be fondly remembered for his willingness to always lend a hand or help others in need. Boyd will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
