Howard E. Enders' Obituary
Howard E. Enders, 91, passed away on July 12, 2012. He is preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Estella Enders; and one sister, Phillis Mortar. Howard is survived by his loving wife, Melva Enders; daughters, Nancy Zurlo and husband, Don, Loretta Bordelon and husband, Jim; grandchildren, Beth Hammes, Tony Barber, Amy White, Renee Clark, Mark Bordelon, and Lee Ann Phillips; twenty-one great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
Howard was a proud and patriotic veteran who served in the US Air Corps during World War II in the Pacific. Howard and Melva enjoyed 54 wonderful years of marriage together and loved traveling all over the United States as well as throughout Europe. Howard was a successful Real Estate Broker for most of his life. He and Melva were especially fond of their community at Country Place and being involved in many activities, including cards and many social events. Howard was a wonderful artist that specialized in oil paintings for many years. He had several art shows over the years at Country Place. Howard was very dedicated to his volunteering at M.D. Anderson Hospital. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
A visitation for Howard will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 from 10:00 am until 12 noon at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The funeral service will begin at noon with interment and military honors to follow at Houston National Cemetery.
