View Tribute Book Howard Charles Hahn Jr. passed away on July 18, 2024, in Houston, Texas, at the age of 71. He is preceded in death by his parents, Howard Charles Hahn Sr. and Celeste (Rick) Hahn, and his brother, Gregory Hahn. Left to cherish Howard’s memory are his son, Joshua Hahn and wife Kacey; former wife, Joanie Hahn; brothers, Matt Hahn, Bryan Hahn, Phil Hahn, and Jeff Hahn; sisters, Kathy Esslinger, Sharon Pisa-Relli, Paula Hahn, Annette Blakley, Jennifer Hairrell, and Mary Thomas; grandchildren, Christopher Hahn and Samuel Hahn; and a host of many other family and friends.Howard was a selfless and generous man. He was always thinking of everyone else’s needs, putting them before himself, and found his greatest joy in doing things for others. Howard was always there for his son Joshua, helping him with college expenses and anything he needed. He attended many of Joshua’s school activities and was always willing to play a game of catch with him while he was growing up. Howard was also a devoted grandfather, affectionately known as “Gramps”.Throughout his life, Howard was a devout member of the Catholic Church who was very strong in his faith. He taught Sunday school for many years, and always enjoyed attending events and activities at his church. He was active in supporting the Pro-Life Movement and attended and supported events. Howard attended the University of Houston and went on to have a successful career with Hewlett Packard. He also enjoyed staying physically fit by running and completed several marathons in his adult life. Howard will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.A Memorial Mass will be held for Howard at St. Helen Catholic Church in Pearland, Texas, on Wednesday, July 24th, 2024. Howard’s family will receive guests from 9:00 to 10:00 am, and the Mass will commence at 10:00 am.
