Ira Chevalier's Obituary
Ira Floyd Chevalier, a resident of Pearland, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at the age of 68 years. Floyd was born September 22, 1937 in Milam County, Texas to Wain Wright and Pauline (Todd) Chevalier.
Floyd was a Machine Shop Foreman by trade and retired from MAC Equipment Co. (formally Allied Industries). He was of the Pentecostal faith.
Floyd is survived by a loving family; his beloved wife, Shirley Sue (Bivens) Chevalier; two brothers, Joseph Chevalier and wife, Linda, of Troup, Texas and Clifford Chevalier and wife, Cheri, of Hallettsville, Texas; sister, Iris Field and husband, George, of Austin, Texas; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 PM Friday, June 16, 2006, at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, in Pearland, TX 77581. A celebration of Floyd's life will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 17, 2006, in the Chapel of Clayton Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery.
