Isaias Michael Jara-Sweeney's Obituary
Isaias Michael Jara-Sweeney passed away tragically on Thursday, July 9th, 2026, in Rosharon, Texas, at the age of 25. He is survived by his mother, Tara, and stepfather, Paco Gonzalez; father, Rosalio Jara-Ortiz; fiancé, Cassandra Calvo; sons, Elijah Calvo and Matias Isaias Jara; daughters, Clara Calvo and Everleigh Jara-Calvo; brothers, Jeremiah Flores-Sweeney and Ian Gonzalez; sisters, Marie Jara-Sweeney and Priscilla Flores-Sweeney; grandmother, Agustina Perez-Ortiz; and a host of many other family and friends.
Isaias will be remembered as a wonderful provider, a hard worker, and above all, a devoted family man. He had a servant’s heart and a smile that could light up any room, made even more memorable by his dimples. Isaias loved being a father and found great joy in playing, laughing, and cutting up with his children. He was a loving son, father, and friend to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Isaias was born in Woodbridge, Viriginia, but grew up in the Houston area, and claimed Houston as his hometown. A morning person by nature, Isaias loved to get up early and start each day with purpose. He had a wonderful sense of humor, never met a stranger, and quickly became a friend to many. His kindness, warmth, and joyful spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral services for Isaias will be held at Clayton Funeral Home of Pearland on Monday, July 20th, 2026. His family will receive guests during a visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 am, with the service commencing at 11:00 am. Interment will follow the service at Alvin Confederate Cemetery.
