Ivan Foster Hudson, 79, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Irene Hudson; and son, Stephen Hudson. Ivan is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Martha Hudson; sons, John H Read Obituary

…I don’t know if you are even reading these anymore, what with Trying to “move on” and continue Living*, As You Should*! We Pray all the Very Fine friends you have, that I had the privilege to meet while I was there, are able to keep you occupied enough to keep *That Smile* on your face!!
I know (..WE know..) there are still going to be “those days” – guess I’m having one now.. – but we’ll get through them.. one at a time.

Martha: You are in my prayers. I lost my second husband to death almost 15 years ago. A really life changing experience. We still tell people about you and Ivan staying with us after the flood and the snakes getting into the game room and your dogs taking care of them for us. When I visit my parents in Nacogdoches, daddy often asks if I have seen or heard anything about Ivan and I must always answer no. I am putting a copy of the obituary in the mail to him today. Amanda and I are living in Alvin and are going to visit a friend in Country Place tonight – small world. Sorry I did not see until today or Amanda and I would have attended the services. We are so sorry to see that Ivan has passed away. We will miss him. We had a great time bowling together and will treasure those years. We’re sorry that we will not be able to attend any of the services but our thoughts and prayers are with you in this sad time.
