J. Glenn Clarkson, age 78 of Pearland, passed away on March 24, 2010. He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter & Minnie (Stevenson) Clarkson. He is survived by his wife, Hattie Clarkson; son, Jim Clarkson & his wife Mary Lyn Read Obituary
Glenn was such a special brother. We will miss his wit & humor (you had to know Glenn). He was a wonderful man that took care of everyone. I know he is at peace and at home with God and all his family & friends. I bet he is having a piece of “chocolate pie” with Mama about now. We love you always.
Hattie, Vickie & Jim and families:
Glenn was such a special brother. It’s hard to believe we won’t be talking and laughing with him again. He was such fun but you had to know him! He took care of all of us for a long time. I know he is at peace and rejoicing with all his family. I bet he is having a piece of Mams’s “chocolate pie” about now. We love you Glenn.
Uncle Glen was a special man. I will never forget how BIG and HANDSOME.. he always seems to me when ya’ll came over. He was a very special and kind man and I am sure he is laughing and “teasing” folks up there in Heaven. I KNOW he is happy and atpeace.
Aunt Hattie, I know you will miss him and pray that you will let your family (including those of us out here in West Texas) help you. Take time to grieve then rememeber what a wonderful life you had.
Vickie and Jim, I know that you will miss him very much..but remember him as your Strong Dad…who always will love you.And he was so proud of you both..and his grandkids…
I will miss him…But God will rejoice with him.

You will all need a time to grieve and a time to quitely reflect back throught memories and to come to grips with what has happened. We all need a time for tears and not for the one who is now at peace in heaven,but for ourselves as we realize that things will never be the same.
