Jack Eugene Musselman's Obituary
Jack Eugene Musselman, 76, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Helen Musselman. Jack is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Nancy Musselman; son, Jeff Musselman; daughters, Jennifer French, Christina Epperson and husband, Michael; grandchildren, Abigail, Emily and Isabell French, Kinley and Matthew Epperson, Avery and Aspen Musselman; and a host of other family and friends.
Jack was a man of many talents that loved the outdoors. He had a deep love and interest in woodworking. Whether it was something simple like a cross for his church, to building a red racecar bed for his grandson, he put all his love and work into what he created. Jack enjoyed taking the family out on many camping trips. It began with a car ride and tents and eventually led to his pop up camper. Camping with the family allowed Jack that time to be with his family and share stories around the campfire. He loved football and had a deep love for his alma mater University of Wisconsin with a close second of the Green Bay Packers and the Houston Texans. Jack loved every single minute with his kids. As they grew up Jack rejoiced in sharing their happiness, their pain, their experiences and life. Jennifer, Christina and Jeff were everything to Jack and vice versa. As Jack and Nancy’s children grew up and they themselves got married, Jack got introduced to his grandchildren. And that love he felt when his kids were first young started all over. He went head over heels every time his children and grandchildren were around, making everyone laugh but also being a figure to look up to. Jack and Nancy met over 43 years ago and fell in love. Sharing their lives together they grew even closer and once they started having children that love got even stronger. Whether it was living in Michigan or moving to Houston with his family, they were always together. Their love and their marriage lasted and should be something everyone should aspire to emulate. Jack will truly be missed by all that knew and loved him.
A visitation will be held Friday, July 22, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The funeral service will take place Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Howard Agnew officiating.
