View Tribute Book James “Pete” Autrey Langford passed away on Tuesday, February 11th, 2025, in Pearland, Texas, at the age of 87. James is preceded in death by his parents, Autrey Austin Langford and Frances Helene Windom, sisters, Joan Langford, Jane McCauley, Francis Langford, and Bitsy Goerner. Left to cherish James’ memory are his sons, Jeff Langford and wife Heather, Wade Garrison, Doug Garrison; grandchildren, Jeremy and Brooklyn; great grandchildren, Rosemary and Zechariah; and a host of many other family and friends.Pete was a wonderful father and provider for his family. He possessed a great work ethic, spending a successful career working on offshore oil platforms for Schlumberger offshore. His mechanical talents were also utilized away from work, spending many hours working on cars with his sons. Pete also enjoyed attending his son’s little league baseball and football games, watching the Dallas Cowboys, hunting and fishing, and country western dancing. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.A memorial service for Pete will be held at Clayton Funeral Home of Pearland on Friday, February 21st, 2025, beginning at 2:00 pm.
