Our prayers continue to be with you at this time in your life. Words can not express the good memories of you and Hazel in my life. You have been the perfect father and God will continue to bless you. Thanks for the memories of James Allen and all you have done on this earth. God will always be with you. Love Del and Wanda
James Allen was a part of our Gomer's Pharmacy "family" for many, many years. He could always make you have a big smile. I know he is in heaven right now buying a Dr. Pepper for everybody and having a fine time visiting with his family and friends. La Porte will surely miss James Allen.
Mr. Temple, James Allen was such a part of my growing up in La Porte. He was always so cheerful and fun. He will be missed. I don't know if you remember my husband, Jim Deeter, but he sends you his best and you are in both of our thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear about James
Allen,he was such a very sweet person . I have such fond memories of him, he always made me laugh. He would see me at Sylvan Drugs and he would say, "Well, Hello Ms. Jackson", because he told me I looked like Kate Jackson on Charlie's Angels! I thought that was so funny.
My deepest condolences to the family. James Allen will always have a special place in my fondest of memories growing up in La Porte.
I married Jerry Fite and thus became Sandy Fite. While in town, if James Allen saw me (usually at Sylvan Drugs) he would shout out "Hello Mrs. FIFE, how's Barney?" I thought that was so funny and I'll always remember him sitting at the soda counter waving to me as I left the store, laughing. He always put a smile on my face.
I hope the family of James Allen will accept my condolences on news of his death. His sparkling blue eyes and ready smile made him well known to all those who lived in LaPorte for any length of time. The world could use more of the smiles and laughter he so freely shared.
Allen, we were so very sorry to hear about James Allen. I think of him with such joy in my heart as he was such a blessing to all our family. I remember the fun times we had growing up. My mother truly loved you all and spoke of your family all the time. You and your family will remain in our thoughts and prayers.
With our deepest sympathy,
Diann and Clay Haynes
