DEAR DIANE, IVAN, LINDA & TRAVIS ~ ~ HEARTFELT CONDOLENCES to you all at this sad time if your mom Jane’s passing; SO thankful & glad to get Diane’s call the other day informing us, despite the sad circumstances....Such fond memories of Jane AND sister Jadonne (sp?) ~my grandmother Priscilla called them both “The Good~Time Girls”~ from back in the ‘90’s: first met them both, when they came to Montana in July, 1990 for my grandparents’ 50th wedding anniversary celebration ~ my grandpa Harley Combs was Jane & Jadonne’s uncle, then I saw them again in 1994, twice, when Jane & Jadonne came out to California(firstly, to visit another cousin) in August and I drove them up to Medford, Oregon to visit my mom & also another cousin, Cliff Combs, who lived there also; later that year, in October, I made my 1st~ever trip to Texas to attend Jane’s daughter Linda’s wedding, which was such a splendid time & also they also took me to Galveston to the seaside!! ALL remain such treasured memories ~ wonderful times!....After moving back Stateside from many, many years working overseas, in 2017 my wife & I moved to Dallas &, on our way there, we were so happy to stop briefly down in Pearland to see Jane, after so many years. Had a nice visit with her & we’re certainly glad we got to see her one more time.
