Janet Lynn Parson's Obituary
Janet Lynn Parson, age 64, entered into eternal peace. While our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing she is now reunited in Heaven with those who went before her and is finally at peace.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Clementene and John Parson; her brother, Doug Parson; her sister, Ann Moore; and her sister-in-law, Jennifer Parson.
She is survived by her devoted sons, Eric Adsit and his wife, Jennifer, and Anthony Kuchinski and his wife, Michelle. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Anthony, Nomar, Tristin, Mia, Aubrey, Abigail, and Annabelle, each of whom brought immense joy to her life.
She is also survived by her brother, Bobby Parson; her sister-in-law, Jeanette Parson; her brother-in-law, Bryan Moore; her nephew, Lacy Moore and his wife, Charlene Moore; her nieces, Angie Choate, Stephanie Quevedo and her husband, Rick, Tammy Montgomery and her husband, Mike, Linda Cheeney and her husband, Warren, Jenny Vincent and her husband, Rich, along with their families, as well as many other relatives and friends who loved her dearly.
Janet attended La Porte High School, where she was a Chato dancer. She was known for her infectious smile, her love of laughter, and her passion for dancing. Whether she was spending time with family or singing karaoke, Janet had a way of lighting up a room. Her beautiful voice and outgoing personality could captivate everyone around her.
Janet loved Garner State Park, where dancing was one of her favorite traditions. She also loved the beauty of Colorado and always enjoyed the mountains and scenery. Tennessee became one of her favorite places because of its clean air, beautiful sunsets, and the changing of all four seasons. Those places brought her peace and happiness and will always remind her family of the joy she found in life.
Perhaps Janet's greatest accomplishment was the love and sacrifice she gave to her children. As a single mother, she worked multiple jobs to provide for Eric and Anthony, making sure they had wonderful Christmases, memorable birthdays, and everything she could possibly give them. She never asked for recognition. She simply loved her boys with all her heart and did whatever it took to give them a good life.
Janet had one of the kindest hearts anyone could know. She never wanted to see someone hurting and was always ready to offer comfort, encouragement, or a helping hand. Her compassion, generosity, and unconditional love touched countless lives.
Though words cannot fully express the sadness of losing her, they also cannot capture the incredible legacy of love she leaves behind. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose memory will live on in the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Today, we do not say goodbye forever. We celebrate a life filled with love, laughter, sacrifice, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her kindness, strength, and beautiful spirit will continue to live on through those she loved and those who loved her.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who loved and cared for Janet throughout her journey. A special thank you to her dear friend, Cari Underwood, whose unwavering love, friendship, and countless hours by Janet's side brought comfort during some of life's most difficult moments. The family is also deeply grateful to her grandson, AJ Adsit, for the time, love, and devotion he shared with his grandmother, and to Eric and Jennifer Adsit for their compassion, kindness, and steadfast support. Their love and presence meant more to Janet and her family than words can ever express.
Janet is now home. She is reunited with her parents, siblings, and the loved ones who have gone before her. She is free from pain, surrounded by God's love, and finally at peace. While our hearts ache in her absence, we take comfort in knowing that this is not the end. Because of her faith, we believe we will see her again.
Until that day, we will carry her laughter in our hearts, remember her beautiful voice, think of her whenever we see a Tennessee sunset, hear music that makes us want to dance, or visit the places she loved most. Her love will remain with us always.
