View Tribute Book Jeanette Estelle Renick, 88, passed away Monday, January 21, 2019. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Virginia Woods; her loving husband, James Edgar Renick; and sister, Barbara Louise Holland. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Sandra Lee Renick, Karen Elizabeth King and husband, Donald R., Patricia Ann Rivera and husband, David M., Linda Kaye Castor and husband, Terry L., Carolyn Virginia Webber and husband, David L.; twelve grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and a host of other family and dear friends. Jeanette believed strongly in education and worked for more than 23 years at a private Christian School. She worked diligently with the students on their school work and encouraged many to continue to pursue their education after graduation. Jeanette was strong in her faith and faithful to the Beth-El Church family. She inspired many with her strength and determination throughout her life. Jeanette was quick to give thanks to the Lord for everything he had done for her. She enjoyed crochet and reading. Jeanette was strict in her discipline and ran a tight ship but loved her family dearly. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jeanette’s honor to the Beth-El Church Building Fund, the American Cancer Society or Grace Hospice. Services will be held at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The visitation will take place Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 10:00 am in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Stan Byars officiating. A private family interment will be at Rosewood Memorial Park in Humble, Texas.
