Ernest Jeffrey Davis March 29, 1941 – August 15, 2021
Ernest “Jeff” Davis, 80, passed away August 15th, 2021. He is preceded in death by, his parents Ernest T. and Talitha Gotcher Davis, wife; Darlene Davis, and brother; Ronald M. Davis. Ernest is survived by his brother; Victor Davis, sisters; Eva Beham, and Margaret Pennington, and a host of other friends and family.
Jeff took great pride in his work. He was a master furniture restorer and owned a furniture restoration business. Jeff enjoyed spending his spare time outdoors. He loved to go fishing, so often you would find him on the water wetting a hook. Jeff loved to tend to his garden and could grow practically anything. He was also a pretty good poker player and loved playing the game. Jeff will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Services for Jeff will be Thursday August 19th in the Clayton Funeral Home Chapel 201 S. 3rd. LaPorte. Visitation 10:00 – 11:00 am. Service is scheduled at 11:00 am, with D.J. Dickerson officiating. Interment will follow at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery, in Baytown, Texas.
