Jeffrey H "Jeff" Lawrence's Obituary
Jeffrey “Jeff” Harrison Lawrence, 53, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2015. He is preceded in death by his father, Ronald Lawrence. Jeff is survived by his mother and caretaker, Iris Lawrence, his sister, Wendy Lawrence of Sitka Alaska, his niece Shannon Johnson of Bryan Texas, and nephew Connor Johnson of Anchorage Alaska. Surviving aunts, uncles, and cousins include: Ken and Willie Meyers, Robert Lauck, Tammy O’Neil, Teresa Schwab, Mike Meyers, Ken Meyers.
Jeff’s life touched many people near and far, despite physical challenges presented at birth. He was a gift and a shining example of triumph over challenges. He had a keen wit and impeccable memory, and made it a priority to help others in need. Jeff was a young man of great strength, determination and compassion and will be remembered for his love of his family. His life-legacy has been inspiring others to be more patient and compassionate in their daily lives, and in particular when dealing with special needs individuals.
Jeff’s memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th, 2015, at 10:00 am at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 5515 West Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581 (281) 485-7833, with Reverend Dr. Jon Salminen officiating. In lieu of flower donations please consider a monetary donation in support of the church body that has supported Jeff and his family.
