Beatrice Leech
I met Jennie probably sometime in 1983 or 1984. I started in the Pharmacology Section Office Aug. of 1983 located in what was then called the Research Building. I found that she worked in an office below mine and I’d take the stairs down to talk to her. She’d do the same and come see me. We developed a trusting personal friendship. In recent days we had been meeting for lunch every 2 weeks but I went off on vacation so we planned to wait and meet when I returned (with another friend joining us). She called on the 14th from the ER to tell me she’d had a stroke.
What a remarkable woman!
