Jennifer Anne Simpson's Obituary
Jennifer Anne Simpson, 37, of Pearland, Texas, entered her heavenly home on January 9, 2026. From her birth on July 12, 1988, Jennifer’s life was a light marked by deep faith, quiet strength, and a love that touched everyone around her. Living with disability from the age of 3, she faced profound challenges with grace, peace, and patience that pointed unmistakably to the Lord she trusted.
Jennifer met each new challenge with an attitude of “one more fight,” embodying “faith under pressure,” counting “all joy” every trial she faced. Her life bore witness to the sufficiency of God’s grace and revealed how deep beauty and meaning can emerge even in the midst of suffering.
Jennifer loved all around her wholeheartedly; her family and friends, her beloved furbaby Benson, and the many people who were drawn to the light that was her life. She had an insatiable spirit to “go” and for shared experience, traveling the world, attending concerts and musicals, going on “foodie” adventures, and spending time at Joni & Friends Family Retreats ministering to families affected by disability.
Sunshine on her face, dolphin watches, ocean breezes, warm sand, and the gentle sway of palm trees were some of her greatest earthly delights, bringing her calm and healing. Though her body knew afflictions of all kinds, her spirit remained unbroken, and her life proclaimed that God can bring strength from weakness.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her father, Keith Simpson, and is survived by her mother, Anne; stepmother, Lisa; her siblings, Justin, Josh (spouse Jamie) , Hunter, Logan, David, Bethany, and Emma; her partner of 21 years, Jacob; and many other family and friends.
Her memory will live on as a quiet, steady light in the hearts of all who loved her, a testament to a life anchored in love and hope in Christ.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to Jennifer’s care team for their compassionate care and steadfast advocacy on Jennifer’s behalf.
