Hello LOVE💕 Had a wonderful day of remembrance yesterday (4/27/26) celebrating U on your 48th Happy Heavenly Birthday. The family sent pics and acknowledgments reminiscent of your life & legacy. There is not a single day that goes by when I don’t think of you & feel so grateful that you completed our family. Okeke misses you so much & he is doing well. Jade is such a sweetheart and she calls & visits us often. She just adopted a cute companion named Wesley who is a chocolate poodle. Your Jadee Wadee is “living her BEST life”. God continues to comfort & bless us and we know you are with so many loved ones in “Soul Heaven”

Jade, your birthday tribute to your daddy is absolutely beautiful. He is your Guardian Angel and will be watching over his “Jadee Wadee” for eternity. I'll spend today doing "Jerel things": eat his favorite pancake/sausage breakfast, listen to his music, visit his tree dedicated in his memory at the city park, eat his favorite crawfish for lunch, look at his photo album, watch one of his favorite movies (we use to laugh so
hard watching What about Bob?&) and for dinner eat his favorite oxtails and greens. Finally, I'll end the day as I started it saying a prayer to thank God for his most precious gift to our family — Jerel Wesley Harris. Happy 44th Heavenly Birthday

Hey daddy. It’s April 13, 2022, and I just now found out about this tribute wall. It’s been too long. Daddy I miss you, I miss you more than anything. I wish you were here physically. I know your watching me grow up in heaven but I wanna see you watch me grow up. Sometimes I feel like I took our time together for granted. I was so young, unaware of how short life is. Unaware of how important it is to cherish every moment with the people you love because one day you’ll wish you did. But I’ve learned to be grateful. I’m grateful that I was your daughter. I’m grateful for the time I spent with you. I’m grateful that your my father. I’m grateful that I’m a splitting image of you. I look exactly like you daddy. Still. People use to call us twins when i was younger , and I have no doubt people will think any different now. I feel like I’m a walking reminder that you’ll always be with us.
