She was born on October 12, 1943, in Little Rock, Arkansas.Jerri is preceded in death by her parents, Master Sergeant Hugh H. Hensley, and Carolyn Wilkinson Hensley; sister, Francis Perkins; nephew Timothy N. Hunter; and brothers-in-law, Jim and Kenneth Britt.Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 61 years, Leonard R. Britt; nephew, John Britt and wife Karin, and their children, Mason and Lauren; sister-in-law, Cindy Britt and her children, Lance and wife Valerie, Kevin and wife Elizabeth, Kyle and wife Jennifer; sister, Gail Hunter; niece, Tammy McPhearson; nephew, Nikolas S. Hunter; and a host of many other family and friends.Shortly after marrying, Jerri began a career that would span more than four decades. In 1971, she joined Richard Adkins and remained a dedicated and invaluable part of his business for 44 years. During that time, she became a cornerstone of the company, known for her loyalty, grace, and tireless work ethic. Her warm smile and steady presence were a daily source of joy and encouragement to colleagues and clients alike.Jerri Possessed an extraordinary gift for listening with care and understanding. Her perceptiveness and genuine interest in others made everyone feel seen and valued. She led a meaningful life defined by compassion, quiet strength, and a true love that touched all who knew her.
