Jerry Lee Hardy, 79, of La Porte, Texas passed away on May 28th, 2012. She was born in Arp, Texas on October 30th, 1932 to Lonnie and Grace McGuir. Preceded in death by her husband John L. Hardy, SR. and daughter Valda Britton, she is survived by children Richard Pebworth, Carol Askew, Karen Pebworth, Sharon Wren, John Hardy, JR., siblings Lonnie McGuir JR. and wife Jay, Sue Roberts, Lois Durham and husband George, Clype McGuir and wife Nancy, Maxie McGuir and wife Pat, grandchildren Jeremy, Shawn, Cara, Stacy, Joey, Jessica, Jerry, Candace, 16 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild. There will be a memorial service on Thursday May 31st, 2012 at the St. James Presbyterian Church.
