Jerry and I were 1st cousins and as children we spent a lot of time together. His mother and my mother were sisters and we spent many hours playing on my parents farm. Jerry was a fun guy and was fascinated by all of our animals. My nephews, Butch and Dennis, as well as myself, loved spending time with Jerry. He found time to make everyone feel special. He will be missed by all of his family and extended family. A truly great guy!! Our love and prayers are with all of his family.

Jerry was always one of my favorite cousins to see at the family reunions. He & all the rest of us kids would have a ball playing like there was no tomorrow.
He was always so welcoming and was always delighted to see each one of us. He always made you feel like you were the most special person on the planet.
He was a gracious Christian man.
He is my friend & I anxiously anticipate seeing him again !!

Jerry was special to me the first time I remember meeting him. He put me at ease at our family reunion. After that reunion, I always looked for him at other reunions to say how much I appreciated him for that. Finally a couple of years ago, I saw him and told him and everyone around. I’m glad I was able to tell him how wonderful he was before he left us.
I’m so sorry for the loss to his family. May God bless you with peace and comfort.
