He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfredo and Josefa Gonzalez; daughter, Diana Menendez; brothers, Armando Gonzalez, Alfredo Gonzalez, and Ramiro Gonzalez; and sister, Emma Morales. Jesus is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Dolores Gonzalez; sons, Jesse Gonzalez and wife, Lorena, Ray Gonzalez and wife, Laura, Hector Gonzalez and wife, Sarah; daughter, Laura Romans; sisters, Elizabeth Gonzalez and Maria Socorro Gonzalez; twelve grandchildren, six great grandchildren; and a host of other family and dear friends. Jesus was a wonderful provider for his family and a successful businessman throughout his life. He professed his faith in God to everyone he met. Jesus always led by example and helped others in need. He loved taking long vacations with his family. Jesus cherished every opportunity he had to spend time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. “Grandpa,” as he was affectionately known, loved all his family dearly and worked every day to show them his love. Jesus will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Services for Jesus will be held Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The visitation will be held from 5:00 until 6:00 pm with the funeral service to follow beginning at 6:00 pm with Pastor Ray Gonzalez officiating.
