Jesus Garcia Lopez's Obituary
Jesus Lopez 77 passed away November 14. He is preceded in death by his parents; Emilio and Ofelia Garcia Lopez, brothers; Justo, Julio, and sisters; Cleo and Connie. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife; Maria, sons; Jesse Lopez Jr, Jaime Lopez and wife Karen, Javier Lopez, Julio Lopez and wife Mary, daughter; Marina Taylor and husband Todd, brother Jorge, sisters; Carlota and Nena, grandchildren; Andreas, Elaine, Mia, Alyssa, Drake, Braeden, Jordan, Jacob, Sarah, Wyatt, Evangeline, Cameron, Dylan, and Parker, and a host of other family and friends.
Jesus was a man who was known to love his family, especially his wife Maria and his grandkids. He was known also as a jokester and loved joking around and having a good laugh. He was a butcher by trade and loved his job. Jesus was also a good handyman and could fix about anything he put his mind to. He was a car enthusiast and loved his cars.
Jesus loved the outdoors and loved fishing and took every opportunity he had to wet a hook. He was always an avid sports fan. He coached little league baseball when his sons were playing. He also loved to watch and cheer on Americas team the Dallas Cowboys, and the Oakland Raiders. In his spare time, he loved to take road trips, go bowling and loved to dance. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
Services for Jesus will be Saturday November 20 at the Clayton Funeral Home Chapel 201 S 3rd St. LaPorte. Visitation: 1-2 pm Service: 2.00 pm
