View Tribute Book Jim Bridge, 66, of La Porte passed away, August 14th from an unexpected Heart Attack. Even though a failing heart took him from this world, his loving heart left a beacon of life for all that knew him.Jim is survived by his brother, Mike Bridge and wife Becky; niece, Cheri Bridge; nephew, Chad Bridge; and their children, Skyler, Harley Payne, Christian Cook, Jessica Bridge, Brayden and Grayson. Jim is preceded in death by his parents, John and Dorothy Bridge.Jim Retired from the La Porte Fire Department in 1999. He kept himself busy buying and reselling classic cars. In the hearts of those who knew him, he will forever be there. As you were, you will always be treasured in our memory.A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday September 7th, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the La Porte Fire Training Center.
