Jimmie Marvin Goodie's Obituary
Jimmie Marvin Goodie, 71 of Houston, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 23, 2010. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Amando Goodie; brothers, Joseph Goodie, Charles Goodie, Lawrence Goodie, and Melvin Goodie; sisters, Mary Goodie Prejean, Dorthy Goodie, Gurtrude Goodie, Amanda Jean Goodie, and Barbara Goodie.
He is survived by his sons, Joel Goodie and wife LaShawn, Baxter Gill and wife Cassandra; daughters, Denise Goodie Crow and Darlene Goodie Mason; nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren; former wife, Dennis Marie Huffmon; and a host of many other family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 29, 2010 at 8:30 am at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4600 Reed Rd., Houston, TX 77051. Interment will follow at Houston Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
