She is preceded in death by her parents; Walter and Lillian Hall Englert, husband; Samuel R. Barnett Jr., brothers; Jerry and Jim Englert, left to cherish her memory are her daughter Karen Kuca, Sister Jeannie Rusher and husband David, step- daughter; J.J. Hilbers and husband Steve, step granddaughter Jessica Olivera and step great-granddaughter Madelyn Olivera.Jo Ann was born in Baytown on April 14, 1936. She was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for Schlumberger for many years. Jo Ann was a member of the St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church in LaPorte.Services for Jo Ann will be held at Clayton Funeral Home of La Porte, Tuesday May 2: Visitation at 11:00 am with a Rosary beginning at 12:00 Noon. Burial will follow at the La Porte Cemetery in LaPorte. In Lieu of Flowers please make memorial donations to St Mary’s Church in Laporte or the LaPorte Cemetery.
