Joann Snipes' Obituary
Joann Snipes, 88, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at her home in LaPorte, Texas. Joanne is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Ruth Pollock; husband Tracy Lewis Snipes; sons Robert Lee Snipes, and John Robert Snipes; and son in law Gary Webb. Left to cherish her memory are sons Tracy Lewis Snipes and wife Alice, Bradford Joel Snipes and wife Patsy, Kenneth Wayne Snipes and wife Linda; daughters Karen Sue Duplantis and husband Larry and Linda Yvonne Webb; brothers Sunny Pollock and Charles Pollock; grandchildren, Jennifer, Tracy, Robbie, Tanja, Felicia, Victoria, Sunny, Chad, Jason, Shawna, Lisa, Katie, Sarah; nineteen great grandchildren; six great, great grandchildren, and a host of other family members and friends.
Joann was a very loving and caring person who had heart of gold and was always available to help anyone. She was very friendly and outgoing. Joann never met a stranger, just new friends she had met for the first time. Joann was a nature lover who enjoyed growing and nurturing her flowers. She also had a great love of birds. Joann was strong in her faith, she loved going to church and reading her Bible. Joann’s family meant the world to her. She will be missed by all her knew and loved her.
Services for Joann will be held at Clayton Funeral Home, 201 S 3rd St., LaPorte, Texas. Visitation is scheduled on Friday October 30, 2020 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday October 31, 2020, at 12:00 Noon, in the Clayton Chapel. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park, in Pasadena, Texas.
