You are all in my prayers
I am sorry for your loss. I always had the up most respect for Mr. Smith.
Barbara, Joe, Marci and Rusty, I am so sorry for the loss of Joe. He was a good man and good Christian. I will always miss him saying "here comes meanness". He loved his family and the Lord and the world has suffered a loss in his passing but heaven has surely gained. Love you all. Sherry, Heath, Heather, T-Ro'
POPS you were one of a kind. When my sister married Joe, Jared and I got to join in on a lot of fun memories I will never forget. Your skiing ability amazed me. Always a good time had at the lake. Jared just said yesterday how you always called him turkey. He misses that. You always had a smile and a nice word to say. Keep them cowboys in line in heaven. We love you.
Praying for all of you, mr. Smith was a kind & caring man, I'll always remember the year he went to the father-daughter banquet with me. Loved living next to y'all.
DEAR RUSTY,D'ANDRA, AND FAMILY....WE WERE SO VERY SORRY TO READ OF THE PASSING OF YOUR BELOVED FATHER....OUR SINCEREST THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH EACH OF YOU DURING THIS TIME OF SORROW....WE WERE AMAZED HOW SIMILAR RUSTY'S DAD COMPARED TO OUR DAD.....BORN THE SAME YEAR, SERVED IN THE KOREAN CONFLICT, LIKED HORSES, ETC. ETC....I KNOW HOW I FELT WHEN WE LOST OUR DAD AND WE'RE ALL SO SADDENED TO HEAR OF THE LOSS OF YOURS....MAY GOD WATCH OVER AND KEEP YOU DURING THIS TIME OF GRIEF....LOVE TO YOU ALL.....YOUR COUSIN LINDA, AUNT BETTY, AND FAMILY.....

I had many good memories of "POPS". The times we shared at the lake where memories me and my son Jared will never forget. I was always amazed at how well of a skier Mr. Smith was. Jared was telling me last night how Pops always called him Turkey. He always had a smile on his face and never had a bad word to say about anyone. Go rest high on the Mountain Pops, you deserve some rest. We will forever love and miss you.
